Anti-Spam & Acceptable Use Policy
Everyone on wepamail shares sending infrastructure. These rules keep your mail — and everyone else's — landing in the inbox. Breaking them can pause your account immediately.
Last updated: August 10, 2026
Permission is mandatory
Every address you send to must have opted in to hear from you. That means you can show, for each contact:
- Where and when they subscribed (form, checkout, event, in person).
- That your identity was clear at the moment of signup.
- That receiving email was the expected outcome, not a hidden side effect.
Prohibited sources include purchased, rented, traded, scraped, harvested, co-registration and appended lists, and addresses collected for a different purpose than the mail you are sending.
Required in every campaign
- A working unsubscribe link and one-click unsubscribe headers — both are added automatically and must not be removed or obscured.
- Your real physical mailing address.
- A subject line and from name that accurately describe the sender and the content.
- A from domain you have verified in the app with SPF, DKIM and DMARC in place.
Prohibited content and practices
- Deceptive subject lines, false headers, spoofed identities or misleading redirects.
- Malware, phishing, credential harvesting or link cloaking to hide a destination.
- Adult content, illegal drugs, weapons, gambling where prohibited, pyramid or MLM recruitment, get-rich-quick schemes, payday or debt-relief offers, and cryptocurrency promotion.
- Sending on behalf of a third party whose list and content you cannot vouch for.
- Attempting to bypass warm-up caps, quotas, suppression lists or unsubscribe handling.
Rate thresholds we enforce
We measure your rolling bounce and complaint rates on every send. Early warnings appear on your dashboard at 60% of a threshold so you can react before enforcement.
- Hard bounce rate above 5%: campaigns are paused automatically for list review.
- Complaint (spam report) rate above 0.1%: campaigns are paused automatically.
- Repeated pauses, or a single severe incident, escalate to a platform-level sending suspension.
Hard bounces, complaints and unsubscribes are suppressed permanently for your account and are never retried.
List hygiene we expect
- Use double opt-in for any list built from a public form.
- Warm up new sending domains gradually — the platform schedules this for you; do not work around it.
- Mail your most engaged contacts first when volume ramps up.
- Re-engage or remove contacts who have not opened anything in 6-12 months.
- Never re-import an address that unsubscribed or hard bounced.
Enforcement
Depending on severity we may issue a warning, pause a campaign, throttle your sending, suspend your account, or terminate it. We act as quickly as needed to protect deliverability for every sender on the platform, and we will always tell you what triggered the action and what we need to restore sending.
Reporting abuse
If you received mail you did not sign up for, use the unsubscribe link in the message and report it to us. We investigate every report and act on the sending account.
